How to prepare your video script in Vox Invite

Your speech has three parts

Greeting phrase → Personal form of address → Shared message

These parts come together in order: “Hello Taylor, we're delighted to have you join us…” If the next recipient's form of address is “Morgan,” their video starts with “Hello Morgan.” If you leave the form of address blank, Vox Invite uses the recipient's first name.

Start the shared message with what you want to say. You do not need to repeat the greeting or form of address there. The same main script reaches each recipient with their own personal opening.

These scripts follow the greeting and form of address. Adapt them in your own words to suit the purpose of your invitation or message.

Eid greeting

Wishing you and your loved ones health, peace, and happiness this Eid. Even when we're apart, you're in my thoughts. I hope we can celebrate many more joyful occasions together!

Invitation

We'd love to see you at our gathering as we share our plans for the next chapter. Your ideas and presence mean a lot to us. We look forward to spending a great day together!

Thank-you

Thank you for the value you bring to our work together. Your trust and support mean a great deal to us. We're looking forward to building on that partnership in the projects ahead!

Welcome

We're delighted to have you join us. We look forward to the ideas we'll create and the successes we'll share together. Welcome to the team and the beginning of a new chapter!

When you want to say something different to one person

Write a custom script for that recipient. This text becomes their entire spoken message; the greeting and form of address are not added automatically. Include both in the custom text, along with what you want to say.

The example below is used only in Ms. Parker's video. Other recipients hear the shared script with their own personal openings.

Dear Ms. Parker, your contribution has played a special part in our project. I'd like to thank you personally and invite you to our next gathering. We look forward to seeing you again!

Let the video and writing work together

Use the video for the feeling and purpose of your message. Event dates and locations are easy to find on the invitation page. A description and poster add context.

Use a private written note for a code or short reminder intended for one recipient. The note is not spoken in the video. Add anything you want spoken aloud to the script itself.

Read your final script aloud and check that the greeting and tone work together. Script length determines the price tier; there is no separate add-on fee for a custom recipient script.
